Welcome to my corner of the equestrian world! My name is Ryan Fowler, and I’m a dedicated horse trainer with over 40 years of combined experience in dressage, eventing, and hunter jumpers. My journey with horses began early, I studied Equine Science with a concentration in Instruction at Midway College in Kentucky. This education laid the foundation for what has become a lifelong passion and career in teaching and training.

In addition to my formal education, I am proud to have earned my H-A accreditation in Pony Club, a prestigious achievement that reflects my commitment to excellence in horsemanship and training.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of training at exceptional facilities, including serving as Head Trainer at Carlton Farms in Williamsburg, Virginia. There, I managed a program focused on developing riders and horses to compete at both local and national levels.

I had the honor of coaching the William & Mary IHSA team, where I helped riders refine their skills and gain the confidence needed to succeed in collegiate competition, pushing them to reach their full potential while proudly representing their school.

In addition, I’ve led camp programs that teach young riders both technical skills and the value of community at the barn. By fostering a supportive environment, I've witnessed riders grow in confidence, not only in their riding but in themselves, building lasting friendships and a strong bond with the sport.

Currently, I am proud to teach at Oakwood Equestrian Center in Auburn, Maine. Here, I continue to share my expertise with riders of all ages and levels, focusing on building strong partnerships between horse and rider.
